Murder Mystery Evening

Mystery in History’ have written a brand new Murder Mystery based around the history of Shuttleworth House…. come back to the 1930s, learn more about the Shuttleworth family and estate… and use your little grey cells to solve a most dastardly crime! The night’s entertainment includes a three course dinner and tea/coffee to finish. Optional overnight stay with breakfast and entry to Swiss Garden and The Collection over the weekend.
The Dastardly Plot: It’s Saturday March 11th 1933. Johnny ‘Snoopy’ Cartwright and Neal ‘The Baron’ Thompson, two of Richard Shuttleworth’s fellow Old Etonians, have arrived at his house to bid to purchase Richard’s old aircraft – his Comper Swift G-ABWE – which crashed back in January. Both want to repair it. Both want to fly it. Both want to own it. But what lengths will they go to in order to get their own way …. surely not murder?!*
Three Course meal menu
Starter: Red onion and apple tarte tatin, boconcini, micro leaves and blue cheese dressing
Main: Free range chicken breast stuffed with blushed tomatoes, basil and mozzarella, dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal veg
Dessert: Baked custard tart, rhubarb and ginger compote
To Finish: Tea, coffee and mints
