The Morning room
A gorgeous bright room, it affords a stunning view over the parkland and drive. Its features include a twenty-four branch chandelier in Dutch 17th century style, a large Victorian overmantel mirror, and a cast iron fire-back with the Royal Coat of Arms and pair of large iron fire dogs.
It is the main room hosting afternoon tea, and was one of the rooms used for convalescence as part of the Red Cross effort in both wars.
The six paintings on the wall are all of members of the Shuttleworth family.
The Morning room can host 60 seated guests, and is licenced for wedding ceremonies.
