July Evening Airshow
Saturday 20 July 2019
Flying for Fun
This classic evening airshow will bring to the fore the fun of flying and a range of aircraft of all shapes and sizes supported by the LAA. Look around a range of aircraft up close in ‘Aircraft Uncovered’ from 13.30-17.00.
With a relaxed atmosphere, and where the light can be at its best for photography, this airshow will showcase displaying aircraft from the early and pioneering years of aviation quite unlike any found anywhere else in the UK!
UK Youth Gliding will be here with their gliding simulator and lots of information on getting into gliding for all ages. The LAA and the British Microlight Society will also be on hand to talk about getting into flying for fun in light aircraft.
Aircraft will start displaying at 18.00 and we hope to fly Richard Shuttleworth’s Bleriot for the first time since work on its engine, which is still the original, on the anniversay of the Moon Landing 🙂
