Mindfulness for Teens (Ages 12-19)

An introduction to Mindfulness for Teens. Mindfulness gives you the skills to manage exam stress and find answers to questions such as:
- Who am I?
- Where do I fit in?
- How do I manage difficult emotions such as anxiety and anger?
- How do I make good friends?
- How can I improve relationships at home and at school?
Neelam Taneja is an accredited teacher of Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga Therapy with over 30 years of teaching experience. He runs regular classes, workshops and retreats in Mindfulness Meditation at the Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living. Neelam holds a doctorate in philosophy of science and is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, London.
All teens must be accompanied by at least one parent/adult. If a second adult wishes to attend, a further £20 charge will be made – only one adult (recommended due to space restrictions) attends FOC with the teen.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes as part of this activity may take place outdoors.
