Hangar 3: Clayton & Shuttleworth
This hangar’s theme is agriculture and mechanical heritage, mainly focused on Clayton & Shuttleworth, the company from which the Shuttleworth family made their money. We can offer groups bookable talks on the subject.
At the rear of the hangar is the coach room, where early carriages are on display alongside a workshop display (pictured below). At some points during the year, the Hangar 3 is home our three vintage buses.
Hangar 3 is also home to our Discovery Workshop, our learning centre for Schools and other groups.
This hangar is available for private hire and weddings, as are our vintage buses below – the White Rose is particularly popular!
