Shuttleworth Swiss Garden re-opens
From Saturday 6 June our Swiss Garden will be open daily from 10.00-17.00, with visitor access now extended to our grade 2 listed North Park, giving visitors over 50 acres to explore.
There’s a relaxing walk around a garden full of pretty seasonal colour and three delightful peacocks, and the woodland sculpture trail around a lake that is home to nesting swans and other wildlife.
Fantastic views of Shuttleworth House and the surrounding countryside from North Park’s gentle hills.
Picnic benches suitably distanced on the paddocks overlooking our grass airfield, with takeaway, hot food, snacks, and drinks available, and plenty of clean toilets.
Dogs on leads are allowed on site, including North Park, but not inside the Swiss Garden.
The visitor entrance has changed to accommodate the additional areas open to the public, visitors can access the site via the gatehouse in Old Warden Village, and pay at our box office (contactless only) through our new daily ticketing system.
There is no access inside Shuttleworth Collection, Play Area, restaurant, or gift shop in keeping with the latest Government guidance, but we hope that visitors will enjoy the chance to return to Shuttleworth’s attractie outdoor spaces.
Shuttleworth has COVID-19 measures in place to keep our visitors and staff as safe as possible – please read before visiting.
