Jubilee Live Music in the Swiss Garden
Park outside the garden, find your ideal spot on the West Lawn, wander around the garden at dusk and then get out your picnic to settle in for an evening of great music within a unique setting.
Why not spend an evening out with a difference? Come see the Swiss Garden at night and enjoy a beautiful evening with a picnic on the splendid West Lawn, as you listen to live music from local musicians. Bring your own tables and chairs, food and drink, smiles and laughter as you enjoy live music performed from the top of The Swiss Cottage mound.
This event will have a small nod to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, more details to follow.
Zoë Phillips is a songwriter and vocalist from Hertford. Her music is hard to box up as she dabbles in dance music as well but her ambient piano-based approach can nod towards the likes of Birdy and Rae Morris. Her music has been supported by BBC Introducing, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 1 Xtra, whilst live performances include Glastonbury festival
Full access to the garden is available from 18.00 – 19.15, from then on please remain at your designated area on the West Lawn.
Please note: dogs are not permitted. Toilets are located inside and outside the garden.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic, but we must ask you to take all your rubbish away with you at the end of the evening.
No charge for babies in arms.
