Classic racing cars will thunder down the runway at the Shuttleworth Sprint on Sunday and on the air show day Saturday the finest racing aircraft of the period, including the winning de Havilland DH88 Comet, will celebrate Richard Shuttleworth’s racing career in the 1930s.
Shuttleworth air shows are the perfect family day out, expect thrilling air displays from historic aircraft and explore the beautiful Shuttleworth Swiss Garden. There is something to keep the whole family entertained!
Please note that the air show is on Saturday 2 October starting at 10am, which is counter to our normal programme of shows. This is to allow the vehicles to sprint down the runway on Sunday 3 October.
To enter your vehicle for the Shuttleworth Sprint or Period paddock, please see details below.
Our air shows in September and October have strong themes and exciting ground attractions. We are therefore reverting to a car park format and we will not be renewing our covid boxes. Commentary will be through our standard PA system. Some parking will still be on the main paddocks but the spacing will be standard, with seating areas at the front of the parking.
If you have booked a ‘covid box’ in addition to your air show tickets, and the cost of this will be refunded to you.
