February 4 – 5: Spitfire Sit-in Experience 2023

The Spitfire sit-in experience has sold out, but tickets are still available to our Engineering Open Weekend.

1941 SUPERMARINE SPITFIRE MK VC – SOLD OUT

The most famous of all WWII fighter planes, the Spitfire was used to escort US air force bombers between 1942 and 1943. It has the livery of the original squadron it served, No. 310 (Czech) Squadron based at nearby Duxford.

This is your chance to experience what it’s like to sit in this iconic aircraft.

Our team will walk you through the whole experience, from getting in and out of the aircraft to explaining the detailed controls within the cockpit.

Each sit-in session lasts for 10 minutes with approximately 6 minutes on board. You must be fit and able-bodied with a max bodyweight of 15 stone to join this experience.
