The Greensand Country Ultra Trail

The Greensand Country Ultra Trail is a 50km ultra marathon that follows a single-loop course along the beautiful countryside surrounding Shuttleworth.

Organised by Runaway Adventures (https://www.runawayadventures.com/), the third edition of this event takes place Saturday 10th June 2023.

Route Description
The 50km route begins with a short section of the Shuttleworth grounds before joining public footpaths and taking runners on an anti-clockwise loop passing through Old Warden, Haynes, Clophill, Chicksands, Shefford and Broom.

The terrain and surrounding countryside is varied, eye-catching and undulating in places. The course is extremely runnable and is a great choice for anyone running their first ultra.
