From our stunning Shuttleworth Swiss Garden through to various ground activities, culminating in a thrilling spectacle in the skies, you’ll be sure to enjoy all our Vintage Air Show has to offer.

We are pleased to announce that we will once again be welcoming a variety of exhibits to display at the show, to include the following categories:

View our amazing collection of aircraft, vintage vehicles and several heritage exhibits in our hangars. Most of the Collection is in flying / working condition, so some of the exhibits may be flying or exhibited outside during the event.

House open: Timings TBC
Explore the glorious Victorian residence of the Shuttleworth family. Take a tour around a selection of the rooms which are full of original period detail, including a Victorian Grand Piano, enormous chandeliers, gold-leafed ceilings and panelled walls.
To get to the House, you can choose to walk from the Swiss Garden via the Shrubbery Walk, or alternatively hop on board the Vintage Bus which stops in front of the hangars.
On non air show days, the House is used for a variety of Shuttleworth events, and can be hired exclusively for weddings and other events.

Shuttleworth’s Swiss Garden is hidden romantic treasure of 10 acres of landscaped gardens, and lies adjacent to the hangars and Shuttleworth House. Wander among splendid shrubs and rare trees, around tiny islands and ponds and over intricate ironwork bridges. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for our two resident peacocks!
All areas of the garden are accessible for wheelchair users and there are toilets available in the garden.
Please note dogs are not permitted in the garden.

Looking for an activity to entertain the young ones? Our large play area with climbing frames, slides and swings is suitable for children up to 12 years old.
Please note that dogs are not permitted inside the playground.
Check out our ‘Discovery Zones’ located in and around the hangars. You’ll find a wealth of activities to keep the kids entertained – and maybe even the adults!

Get up close and personal with the aircraft on a Flightline Tour for just £10 per person, with a knowledgeable guide on hand to talk about the aircraft and answer your questions.
Tours are in small groups of four people and last for approx. 45 minutes.

Enjoy a ride aboard one of our 1920’s Vintage Buses – our Double Decker, the only surviving Charabus or the glamorous White Rose!

Experience an exhilarating introductory flight experience in the beautiful 1940s T6 Harvard, The “Wacky Wabbit”. When you climb into the cockpit, you will be transported back to the 1940s as your senses experience the sight, sound and smell of this vintage Warbird.
T6 Harvard Aviation offer a limited number of flights at this air show prior to the flying display. Each flight lasts approximately 20 minutes. Flight cost per person: £399. Video also available: £50

Access to the air show site by car or motorbike is via our new entrance which opened in July 2021. This is located on the B658 Shefford Road. To find us please use the postcode SG18 9DX and follow the AA signage.
We are two miles due west of the A1 at Biggleswade, approx 20 miles from J13 on M1.
Please note that depending on traffic and your time of arrival, you may have to queue for anything up to an hour.
The old Collection entrance on Hill Lane is for pedestrians, cyclists and air show participants only.
For those visitors wishing to fly into the show, we have a limited number of PPR slots available. In order to book your slot, you will first need to purchase an air show ticket for each person in your aircraft.
Once you have bought your ticket, please email the Airfield Manager to book your landing slot or call John de Main on: 07875 028876 and quote your ticket number. Please note that a landing fee is an additional £10 payable on the day. If you have any other queries, please email the Air Show Manager.
A free shuttlebus will run from Biggleswade train station to Shuttleworth and back on a loop. The bus service starts at 9am and will continue until the air display starts at 2pm. The service will resume for a couple of runs after the display ends.

Pedestrians & Cyclists
Pedestrians and cyclists can enter via the gate on Hill Lane, where a member of staff will check your ticket on arrival. Please note that tickets must be pre-booked as we do not sell tickets on the day at this entrance.

Shuttleworth Gift Box
The Shuttleworth Gift Box is a wonderful gift for either a friend or a loved one. Presented in a gift box with a gift card and Shuttleworth keepsakes. Just add to your basket in the ‘Book your tickets’ section at the top of the page. Air Show tickets must be purchased separately.
Please note: the Gift Box can only be posted to addresses within the UK. We aim to post all gift boxes within 7 days of purchase by Royal Mail, all gift boxes will be posted 2nd class.

Camping is available for self-sufficient camping – tents, caravans, folding campers and motorhomes with their own washing and toilet facilities.
Available from Thursday – Monday only with a minimum two-night stay.
All campers receive complimentary access to the daily Visitor Attraction but are required to purchase an air show ticket in addition to the pitch fee.
Accommodation is available at Shuttleworth House the night of the Air Show.
