The Dining room

An attractive room located at the rear of The House, overlooking the shrubbery walk. It is a wonderful room for banqueting, board meetings, wedding breakfasts, and select private hire. The table is George III style Mahogany Three Pedestal, with 20 Walnut Dining Chairs (including 2 carvers) in George II style. The room has a working gramophone.

Eleven paintings on the wall include portraits of Colonel Frank Shuttleworth, Dorothy C. Shuttleworth, Richard Shuttleworth, and Nathaniel Clayton. For the annual September Vintage airshow and HAA Open Day, this room hosts an exhibition on the Shuttleworth family.
