A lovely day out
A beautiful day and stunning gardens and an interesting collection. Staff are friendly and helpful, the site is vast and it’s easy to spend a day there.
There is always something new to see and experience
No matter how many times you go, there is always something new to see and experience. The collection spans so many eras of flight and technology it is a real pleasure to see and experience up close.
The Swiss Gardens are so well maintained and well laid out, they are accessible and can be enjoyed in all weather.
If you visit once you'll come again
In my opinion, the very best place in Britain and probably in the world to see a display of vintage aircraft. Check out the website and check for flying days. Get there in good time and visit the hangers, house and gardens. But the stars are the aircraft many of them unique survivors. If you visit once you'll come again. I visited with my parents 55 years ago and have since brought my children and look forward to bringing my grandchildren.
