Remember your loved one in a unique way within the historic site of Shuttleworth, Old Warden. From peaceful ceremonies in our beautiful parkland to scattering ashes from iconic aircraft, we have a range of options that can be tailored to your needs.
It exceeded all our expectations. It was a very moving experience and a very fitting tribute... There were so many poignant moments... the lone spitfire waiting at the end of the runway, the ashes drop itself, the victory roll, saying 'goodbye' as the Spitfire flew off into the distance
Packages
Our packages include entry for up to 20 people to view an ashes scattering, a complimentary hot drink for all guests, and complimentary entry to Shuttleworth Collection & Garden.
Walk on Ashes Scattering – £200
20 members of friends or family walk onto a set location of the airfield to scatter the ashes and say their goodbyes.
Aerial Ashes Scattering – from £1,100
20 members of friends or family walk onto a set location by the runway to watch their loved ones' ashes be scattered by air from one of the Shuttleworth Collection’s aircraft.
During the memorial, the aircraft will be airborne for around 20 minutes, performing a number of flypasts over the airfield following the ashes scattering.
Subject to weather conditions and aircraft serviceability.
Woodland Walk Ashes Scattering – £200
20 members of friends or family meet at a set location of the Woodland Walk to scatter the ashes and say their goodbyes.
Wakes at Shuttleworth House
The grand rooms of our Victorian mansion, Shuttleworth House, make for a wonderful space to reflect and celebrate your loved one.
