Best of British Air Show
- 30 August 2025
Following the record-breaking success of our second year, Festival of Flight returns with another spectacular weekend-long celebration.
In true Shuttleworth style, we’ll bring you a stellar line up of breath-taking air displays from the very best UK international visiting aircraft as well as showing off all of our serviceable Collection aircraft over the two days.
But that’s not all… the Festival sees more FREE ground attractions than ever before spread across the entire Shuttleworth site. From simulators to fun fair rides, stunt shows, parades, interactive Discovery Zones plus Shuttleworth House and Swiss Garden to explore, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
Don’t want to fun to end? Why not camp with us and turn your flying visit into an unforgettable stay? Find out more about our Festival of Flight Camping Bundle.

Fun for kids big and small (and those who are still kids at heart).
Learn more about how the Shuttleworth family fortune was made. See live demonstrations from various heritage exhibits from Clayton & Shuttleworth – one of the early builders of portable steam engines and thrashing machines.
Let our enthusiastic team of volunteers guide you through working the BOFORS gun yourself. This interactive exhibit can be operated by ages 3 – 93!
Let the kids loose on a fantastic range of activities, from ‘make & paint’ to STEM related educational experiences.
Opening times TBC.
With so much going on across the site, why not take a break to see where Richard Shuttleworth – our patron and founder of the Shuttleworth Collection – grew up?
Step aboard one of Shuttleworth’s vintage buses and enjoy a trip to Shuttleworth House and back, as well as rides along the front of the Collection Hangars.
Step through ornate iron gates into the quiet idyll of Swiss Garden. With quirky structures to find, and resident peacocks, it’s the perfect shady retreat on a summer’s day.
Spend some time browsing and shopping for a variety of aviation memorabilia, gifts, souvenirs and crafts along.
Keep yourself and the kids going with some delicious take-away food and drink from our carefully curated caterers, or head to the Runway Café for seated dining.
