Join us for a spectacular car and air show, including some true classics from across the UK, at the Old Warden Aerodrome.

During his action-packed life, Richard Shuttleworth was a passionate racing motorist, aviator and prolific collector of veteran cars and aircraft. He restored numerous veteran cars and aircraft which make up part of the Shuttleworth Collection today.

Our popular annual Race Day will once again celebrate Richard’s passion for aviation and motoring, with owners of cars and bikes invited to participate in the Shuttleworth Sprint and compete for the ‘Spirit of Shuttleworth’ trophy.

To complement the Sprint, owners of non-sprint vintage & classic vehicles are invited to exhibit in the Period Paddocks to celebrate Shuttleworth’s motoring legacy of motoring and engineering.

Application form

After reviewing your application, we will email to confirm your attendance. We will then send over further information on the sprint or displaying in the period paddock.

By completing this application, you declare that your vehicle will be covered by the minimum insurance requirements of the Road Traffic Act (your normal road insurance), irrespective of whether your exhibit is licensed for use on the public highway or not. If your vehicle is not subject to Road Traffic Act, it will be covered by a Public Liability Policy with a limit of indemnity no less than £5 million for any one incident.
