Our warm and spacious Visitor Centre offers plenty of seating and can be accessed via a ramp.
The Collection hangars have ramps throughout as well as occasional seating. There are toilets, including an accessible toilet, in a central block midway through the hangars.
The nine acre Swiss Garden has accessible paths and seating throughout. There is a dedicated toilet block. Service dogs are permitted in the Garden.
Our Woodland Walk is generally accessible for all, but please bear in mind this is a walk around a Grade II* historic venue, grounds and gardens with many level changes. Some areas may not be accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooters.
The main entrance to Shuttleworth House is via six steps (without handrails). Due to the listed status of the building we are unable to install handrails. Wheelchair access is via Reception with internal wheelchair lifts to other floors.
The Flat at Shuttleworth and Garden Suite is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
All rooms are located on the first floor via staircase only – rooms 12, 14, 15 are 16 are then a further level up from the first floor.
