Are there any prohibited items?

The following items are prohibited from site:

  • Fireworks and garden flares
  • Open fires
  • Chinese lanterns, kites and sky lanterns
  • Naked flames
  • Portable laser equipment and pens
  • Gazebos and oversized umbrellas
  • Drones
  • Replica or similar firearms or knives on trade stalls
  • Powered access segways / scooters or skateboards

Depending on what’s happening on site, you can use both our Alder Drive entrance (SG18 9DT ///forks.extension.drums) and Old Warden entrance (SG18 9EB ///charts.goodnight.waffle).

Arrivals are welcome from 10:00 - 20:00.

Pitches must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure unless agreed otherwise by the Site Manager or if you have an event ticket for that day.

All visitors must book in with the Site Manager on arrival.

Pitches are 10x10m including space for vehicles and are allocated on a first-come first-serve basis

Due to the volume of arrivals we are not able to offer pre-booked pitches.

Please ensure you have your event tickets ready to show upon arrival. 

We advise all campers to pitch to the right of their area leaving space on the
left. This way everyone can enjoy a clear view of the air show.

If you arrive after 20:00, you must park in the overnight holding area and contact the Site Manager the following morning.

  • Strict 10mph speed limit
  • No loud music after 22:00
  • No driving after 23:00
  • We share our site with Shuttleworth College - please adhere to signage and do not enter out of bound areas.

There are no power points available.

Generators are permitted on site and those with generators will be pitched towards the back of the campsite. Use only permitted between 10:00 & 19:00.

After 19:00 you are only permitted to use a silent diesel generator or solar power.

KEEP AWAY FROM OPEN FLAME

Dogs are permitted but must be kept on leads at all times.

No more than 2 dogs per camping pitch. There is no charge
for dogs.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on-site for the Flying Proms Air Show.

The burning of wood is strictly prohibited.

Charcoal-only barbeques are allowed, providing they are raised at least 1ft off of the ground.

Barbeques must be extinguished by 22:00 and are not permitted on Air Shows days until the
event has finished.

Open fires or fire pits are prohibited.

The Runway Café is a short walk from our parkland campsite, located near the Visitor Centre of Shuttleworth Collection & Garden. It is open daily from 10:00 (from 09:00 on summer weekends) until 16:00 during the winter and 17:00 in the summer. On Air Show days, it is open from 09:00 and until one hour before the end of the show.
