Are there any wedding favours that are not allowed?

We kindly request no alcohol, candles, matches, bubbles, confetti poppers, loose crystals, plastic table decorations, or helium balloons - with ceilings that high once the balloons go up we can’t get them down!

Suppliers can arrive from 8am on the day. Early access can be arranged for £60.00 plus VAT.

If you have a set seating plan for your meal you will need to bring a table plan board with you. We have plenty of easels so if you want to bring an order of the day board or welcome sign we can accommodate. We recommend name cards so that your guests know where to sit, along with table numbers/stands.

Early set-up is not guaranteed, however you can always drop off your personal items on the week of your wedding for us to store for you. If we do not have any events on the days leading up to the wedding and can offer an early-setup we will let you know.

Yes, we do. Please let us know in advance how many you require.

We permit confetti onsite, however we do ask for it to be natural. Fresh or dried petals are best (and no confetti cannons inside, please).

We have space for five wedding cars at the front of Shuttleworth House.

Due to our original parquet wooden flooring throughout Shuttleworth House, guests who wish to wear stiletto heels must wear rubber protective covers. We recommend that you inform your guests on your invitations. Some couples purchase a few packs for the day too - just in case their guests forget.

Drones are permitted on site providing that your photographer can provide the relevant documentation and complete our application form. If you book a supplier that has a drone please let us know.

We have an active airfield. To fly in you’ll need to PPR. You’ll find more information on our Flying in & PPR page.
